Justice for Children Award – DEADLINE EXTENDED

The Justice for Children Award is a competition organized by Defence for Children International (DCI) and the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT), with the gracious support of the Loterie Romande.
The aim of the Justice for Children Award competition is to encourage academic research within European Universities on the obstacles and challenges that compromise the realization of children’s rights in justice systems. The 2nd edition focuses on the theme “violence against girls in the justice system”.

Applications are open to Master’s students currently or formerly enrolled in European Universities. Students can submit their applications individually or jointly as a group of two students. The new deadline for applications is Sunday 15 October 2017.

The winner of the competition will be awarded a monetary prize of 1,000 Swiss francs, will have his/her article published and will be invited to Geneva to attend a session of one of the UN Human Rights mechanisms and the Award Ceremony.
