The call for proposals for Marie Curie Career Integration Grants (CIG) has been published 20 October 2011. This call is intended to improve the prospects for the permanent integration of researchers who are offered a stable research post in Europe from 2 to 4 years after a mobility period in a country different from the country where the researcher has been active during the past years (i.e. the researcher has to be mobile but can come from anywhere in the world – moving within Europe or coming from outside Europe).

Local information days
Before the closure of these calls (on August 16 for IEF and on March 6/September 18 for CIG) a series of Marie Curie Info-days will be organised as part of the Marie Curie Actions Roadshow 2012. The info-day in Rome will take place on April 11th 2012 at Italian Representation of the European Commision (Via Quattro Novembre, 149 – 00186 Roma).

All researchers of any nationality and from any research field are invited to attend the info-days in one of these cities. Each event will provide updated information about the funding offered in the upcoming calls. It will in particular focus on Intra-European Fellowships and Career Integration Grants. Five of the major research organizations in Europe will also present various opportunities for carrying out research as part of a post-doctoral fellowship in their respective institutions.
This invitation is targeted to researchers who are interested in carrying out research in one of these research centers by submitting a proposal for a Marie Curie Fellowship.
